“Lineart Gallery Award”
A jury composed of five art collectors will bestow a Lineart Gallery Award to the five galleries with the most original stand. The award ceremony will be held during the preview on 2 December from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
“Lecture Lounge”
Visitors can get more information on the art on show in a special facility. Various institutions have been invited to hold a lecture day (each lecture lasts 20 minutes maximum). Last year, the universities of Brussels, Ghent and Leuven, the magazine ISEL, and Saint Luke’s College in Ghent organised such a lecture day.
“Gentse Kunstweek” [Ghent Art Week]
In conjunction with Lineart, the City of Ghent organises the “Gentse Kunstweek” (last year under the name: Figures / Facts). The city’s various museums and art institutes organise activities, exhibitions on a given theme, late-night openings, etc. All these activities attract a large number of visitors… who can combine their outing perfectly with a visit to Lineart!
